Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15 in 1961) was an American actress. Since the mid 80s, Angela Evelyn has worked in television and film. Her work has been recognized with many awards, including 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett was raised in New York New York and raised by an aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. The mother of Bassett had divorced from her father when she was about five. She and her younger sister later relocated into St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett chose to become an actress after she saw the stage play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. When she graduated of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980, with a Bachelor's Degree of African American Studies, she went on to earn a Master's Degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they were married. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama conferred the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in the year. She attended the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the principal characters in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
